The Most talented meandthey are the best in show business, for they have demonstrated a first class, a world class talent.Being in the limelight, they set behaviour patterns for ordinary people. Often they set a negative conduct pattern for people. In fact, the impact that celebrities have on ordinary people is tremendous. Plenty of young girls do their best to look like celebrities and starve to death. People try to imitate celebs, which often results in alcohol and drug abuse, outrageous conduct and felonies. They often find their lives boring and uneventful compared to celebs' and try to conduct the way they do to spice up their lives.Celebrities' expensive luxury garments, gems, perfect tan and makeup make the average person feel inferior, which leads to the inferiority complex.Another impact celebs have on our culture is that of intruding one's privacy. Nothing is concealed anymore. Paparazzi pursue their every action and that seems to intrude their right to privacy. They seem to be willing to risk anything to take a photo, which is a negative influence for our culture.However, some celebs set a positive example by donating money to needy people, raising money for charity, helping seriously sick children and the elderly, promoting a healthy biography-stylus among teens.We should not idealize celebrities, since they have both positive and negative personality traits, and are imperfect, too. |
